Sobre la Infidelidad
La Infidelidad es un tema muy dificil y amplio como para pretender abarcarlo con este humilde artículo, sin embargo, intentaré hacer un esbozo medianamente razonable sobre el, tratando de definirlo y de dibujar sus principales caracteristicas en el mundo de hoy. Muchas de las ideas plasmadas aquí vienen de lecturas previas y otras tantas de mi particular modo de pensar, es decir, les adelanto que no pretendo dar cátedra ni mucho menos, más bien son recortes de ideas que iremos completando con sus propios comentarios.Muchas veces se habla de la infidelidad como un problema de la sociedad, yo prefiero decir que es una característica que acompaña a las sociedades monógamas desde que se establecieron las relaciones normadas y desde este punto neutral atacaré el tema durante todo este artículo que vislumbro va a ser un poco extenso.
Para definir la infidelidad debemos darle un marco social, de este modo podemos decir que dentro de sociedades monógamas de parejas normadas una relación infiel es aquella que ofende o vulnera los derechos de uno de los miembros de dicha pareja. De este modo podemos darnos cuenta que es un concepto social y por lo tanto cambia de acuerdo a las épocas y las culturas, en la Grecia y Roma antigua era considerado infidelidad que un hombre casado se acostara con una mujer casada pero no si lo hacia con esclava(o)s, concubinas o prostitutas; en algunos estados Arabes actuales también cambia mucho el concepto de infidelidad e incluso en nuestros paises latinos el concepto es ambiguo, para unos la infidelidad se presenta ya desde el pensamiento y para otros solo se es infiel cuando el acto es consumado de cualquier forma física.
Centrandonos en Latinoamérica podriamos diferenciar además entre la infidelidad femenina y la masculina, esta última mucho más tolerada y hasta aupada en nuestras sociedades generalmente machistas; sin embargo debo decir que hay una cierta base científica en esa actitud permisiva hacia la infidelidad masculina; "Robert Wright, psicólogo evolucionario, afirma que la infidelidad está inscrita genéticamente en nuestro código instintivo. Buss y Wright coinciden al explicar que la naturaleza dotó a todos los seres humanos de un gen de la infidelidad que tiene mucho que ver con la Ley de Conservación de las Especies. Según esto, el hombre debería tener el mayor número posible de relaciones con varias y distintas mujeres para garantizar el tener un número considerable de hijos y perpetuar a la especie. En el mundo animal, la característica primordial es la poligamia. Sin embargo y a pesar de sus investigaciones, el mismo Wright manifestó que no existe ninguna coacción genética sobre lo que el ser humano no tenga control. "Los genes, digan lo que digan, nunca decidirán por nosotros si deseamos o no ser infieles"; coincidiendo con esta idea I. Caruso agrega: “el hombre es, por naturaleza, un ente cultural”. La carga genética, entonces, puede dar (quizá) una luz sobre la tendencia genética a ser infieles, pero no explica el porque algunas personas caen en esta práctica y otras no, lo que nos lleva de vuelta a la encrucijada
Yo he llegado a la conclusión de que las personas son infieles por cuatro razones fundamentales y muy bien definidas:
todos estos casos son perjudiciales para las relaciones normadas en nuestras sociedades y todo el mundo coincide en que la situación ideal es que todos fueramos fieles 100% sin embargo en algunos casos esta situación no se presenta.
Lo mejor con respecto a la Infidelidad es enfrentarla y ponerla en la balanza junto a los sentimientos que nos unen a nuestra pareja y tomar una decisión firme hacia el lado al que se incline la balanza y en ambos caso dejar el episodio atras; recuerden que al enfrentar un caso de infidelidad tenemos dos opciones, terminar la relación o perdonar y en este caso debemos hacerlo de corazón o seremos esclavos de nuestros propios pensamientos toda la vida.
Por último les voy a presentar los siete mitos de la infidelidad, cosas que pensamos como ciertas, como premisas infalibles pero que definitivamente NO son verdad.

- Incomodidad en la relación: Una persona que no encuentra en su pareja lo que busca o necesita estará inclinado a buscarlo en otra persona conciente o inconcientemente a través de una relación no necesariamente intima con alguien que llene ese vacio.
- Adicción sexual: A veces la busqueda de una tercera persona en sociedades monógamas se debe a que la líbido no puede ser satisfecha abiertamente y es necesario traspasar los limites para satisfacer el apetito sexual.
- Accidentales: Hombres y mujeres muchas veces se dejan llevar sin pensar, sin darse cuenta pero conscientes debido a situaciones de tristeza, alegría o euforia y son infieles accidentalmente.
- Por venganza: Otra razón muy común para ser infieles es la venganza o el desquite, la persona agraviada se siente inclinada a corresponder el ataque de la misma forma.

- Todo el mundo es infiel, es un comportamiento previsible y normal.
- Los amoríos son positivos y hasta pueden hacer revivir una relación moribunda.
- El infiel no ama verdaderamente al engañado y su amorío es la mejor prueba de ello.
- La persona con la que se mantiene el amorío es sin duda más sexy que la pareja.
- El amorío debe achacársele a la persona engañada, ya que demuestra que éste le ha fallado en algún sentido a la pareja infiel, obligándolo a ir en busca de esa relación.
- Frente al descubrimiento del amorío de la pareja, lo mejor es simular que uno no sabe nada, para evitar así una crisis.
- Si se produce un amorío, la pareja terminará forzosamente por separarse.

Buenos días Xavier, el artículo está muy interesante y puedo que coincido contigo en muchas cosas, pero viendolo como mujer, en la mayoría de los casos la llevamos de perder, el por que? sabemos perdonar a diferencia de ustedes que piensan que la ofensan la llevan en la frente y dificil de borrar, pero que pasa con nosotras cuando buscamos de recuperar lo perdido, como tú dice perdonamos de corazón e incluso en reiteradas ocasiones, pero al contrario nosotras somos tratadas como lo peor y salen los defensores, el por que? lo hiciste si es tan bueno y el perdón en ocasiones no llega y si se da toda tu vida será martirisada por ese momento de tu vida pero no porque sea la mujer quien lo recuerde sino su pareja y entonces quedamos en las mismas. A parte yo siento que ustedes hombres cuando son infieles lo son por naturaleza o mejor dicho no necesitan razón lógica, sino que son como cazadores que mientras más presas mejor eres, engañan porque sí, porque tiene un cuerpo lindo y ya, y en ese momento se pasan un swcher y se olvidan de la que esta en casa que en ocasiones te han dedicado la vida entera y el pago que reciben es ese, claro no quiero decir que seamos santas en este aspecto pero no por mero gusta se es infiel en la mujer es mi sentir es por falta de afecto, de atencion y aquellos pequeños detalles que la pareja pierde y cuando aparece alguien que logre satisfacer estas carencias, mira paso y .... Entonces es untema complicado e interesante porque siempre van a ver posiciones encontradas en ocasiones se tendra razón o no... pero bueno las posturas siempre van a ser distintas y la mayoría de las veces el mal llamado sexo débil las lleva de perder. Bueno amigo espero que sigas indagando sobre el tema para nutrir más lo poco que podemos saber o para corregir los pensares.
Hola Xacker, muy bueno tu articulo, excelente como todo lo que escribes... Yo solo puedo decir que si enfocamos el tema desde un punto de vista mas liberal, como lo hacen en los paises desarrollados por ejemplo, La Infidelidad, no nos afectaria tanto, el problema y lo que hace este tema tan complejo, es precisamente que estamos "PROGRAMADOS" para las relaciones monogamas. Desde pequeños nos enseñaron las doctrinas de las distintas religiones que predominan aqui en latinoamerica lo que hace que veamos la infidelidad como lo señala el articulo; yo pienso que es precisamente la religion la raiz de tantos problemas como el machismo, la pobreza, entre otras cosas...
hola, tengo 26años y tengo ya 1 año de haber terminado con una relación que duró 10 años de la cual hay 1 hijo que actualmente tiene 4 años y 1/2, duramos "felices" como pareja los primeros 5 años y despues comenzo a salir solo con amigos a restringir mis amistades, mis salidas y demás, no todos los hombres son infieles pero el que peca 1 peca 2 y más y a mi me la hizo muchas veces que descubri no se cuantas mas que no me entere pero una como mujer vale mucho para estar al lado de una persona asi, se es infiel por que se presenta la oportunidad y el (la) sinverguenza y no por eso hay que sentirse mal al contrario al diablo con esa relacion que al frente puede estar una nueva persona que espera por ti.

cariño dejame decirte algo , es mi punto de vista muy personal , los hombres cuando son promiscuos quedan en esta sociedad como el macho!! el padrote!! el papi papi!! pero si es caso contrario , la mujer queda como una fufurufa.
Es no es justo y particualrmente no me parece ya q en pleno siglo 21 se supone?? q hay igualdad de condiciones.

Epa Xavier, esta interesante tu análisis, y coincido en que es como sembrado por una sociedad machista, suena como chiste pero aun en estos tiempos consigues hasta Abuelitas que al cambiar el pañal a un hermoso Varón juega con las bolitas (testículos) y dicen esto es pa' las mujeres, pero si es hembrita no sucede así, osea que hasta las mujeres son Machistas. Es bíblico que la mujer salió de una costilla de Adan, porque esta está a la altura del hombre solo que debajo del brazo para que este la proteja. Tengo 44 con 14 de casado y no he sido infiel. Algunas veces la distancia hace que algunas personas lleguen a ser infieles pero en la mayoria de los casos no deberia de ser asi ya que si tu realmente quieres a una persona sabras espararla y comprender que siempre estaras alli hasta el momento que esa persona decida regresar

hola xavier, entre a esta dirección con la única finalidad de enviar mensajes de texto gratis a movistar, y aunque al principio me desilusionó algo darme cuenta que era un blog (siempre me han parecido una manera muy absura, vanidosa, egocentrista de escribir o lo que te pasa o te gustaría que te pasara, bueno eso era en los blogs que había visitado), al leer tu artículo, me pareció bastante interesante, realista y sincero y me animó a publicar algunas líneas. La infelidad es todo lo que dices, y muchas cosas más. El problema no es la sociedad, no es ser hombre , o mujer, o las normas o lo liberal o conservador que seas, el problema es enamorarse y amar tanto a alguien, que te duela todo lo que haga o deje de hacer, el problema es lo rico que se siente cometer una infidelidad, y lo terrible que se siente que te sean infliel. El problema es del lado que estes parado, el problema es subjetivo, porque todo en esta vida es subjetivo.

hay mucho de cierto en todo lo que expone en el articulo pero tambien se deja de querer a la pareja y por eso se busca un amorio, y lo que sucede es que la pareja sabe la situaciòn y se niega a aceptarlo
el motivo de cualquier infedilidad es tomar algo. la infedilidad en primer lugar es admitir lo poco que a uno le gusta quien es, y con quien esta, es ser hipocrita.
la infedilidad fomenta la inseguridad, porque si uno hoy esta, y mañana no esta, al igual que el otro tambien puede que este, o no este... de esa manera la infedilidad fomenta la inseguridad. la inseguridad es el pilar de nuestras sociedades. ya que las personas son las que son; infieles o fieles. entre nuestros lideres tambien hay personas, en nuestros televisores tambien :P.
la infedilidad tambien es una forma de anvazar ya que sacude a la persona infiel en buscar. es una mala forma de "despertar" ya que con ella uno admite que no le gusta quien es, porque no le gusta lo que hace.
es natural ser infiel o fiel? hoy en dia tiene poco sentido esa pregunta, de que nos vale esa respuesta a las personas de hoy en dia?
la gente reclama sentirse seguro con la boca abierta, a gritos. quien no quiere tener la seguridad de saber que su pareja, su familia, sus amigos, lo quieren? supongo que todos queremos entre muchas cosas... eso. entonces, porque somos infieles? esta en la naturaleza que nos gusten otras personas. antes de estar casados, o de novios, incluso antes de novios, o de conocer a nuestra novia, o mujer, nos la encontramos por la calle y la vimos, nos gusto, era una desconocida y nos gusto. por lo tanto la infedilidad es natural, supongo que a lo que se refieren por infedilidad es otra cosa a la que no se le ha dado nombre o la que se ha esplicado mal.
ahora, indirectamente voy a tocar el tema con una pregunta que sin duda muchos van a pensar o decir que no tiene nada que ver con el tema, yo no pienso lo mismo por eso la voy a hacer. fue dios fiel o infiel el dia que decidio cambiar lo que habia antes de crear la tierra y cambiar lo que estaba? la respuesta, sea la que sea... fue que dios hizo un cambio sin molestar a nadie, por bien de el, y de nosotros.

Hola mira en realidad cero que tu articulo es muy bueno, yo considero que la infedelidad es un fenomeno social, pero lo importatnte para mi es que te seas fiel a ti mismo, independientemente de que tu pareja lo sea o no!, lo que pasa es que te preocupas tanto por si tu pareja lo hace o no, [pero es cuestion de cada quien tal vez este mal:

hola. creo que la infidelidad es una prueba de que las cosas en la pareja andan mal y que no se hablan ni se les busca la causa concreta. Creo que en nuestra sociedad hay mucha cobardía para afrontar esos problemas y actuar en consecuencia. En el caso concreto de las parejas con hijos y una década de matrimonio que viene fallando hace rato y que prefieren esquivar... termina siendo peor, se mienten por culpa, por no ver sufrir a los hijos... pero por experiencia propia sé que los hijos lo toman mejor y sin tragedia si los padres no se ponen dramáticos. hay veces que es bueno asumir que uno no eligió bien (digo con salud y conciencia de sus deseos) a la pareja y poder vivir el amor con honestidad. Los hijos aprenden el amor así y no la careteada de la familia perpetua. Familia es amor y elección y todos tenemos derecho a reveer nuestras vidas y ser felices y dejar ser feliz al otro. Es un aprendidaje, creo, el amor... A veces hay que asumir que el otro aunque es una persona muy querida necesita otro tipo de pareja y uno mismo tamb y asumirlo y perdonarse la elección equivocada de los 20 años es positivo para todos.
Una persona que engaña y siente culpa a veces se carga un "fracaso" solos y la otra parte se siente víctima. En cambio si se ve la parte llena del vaso, que es la nueva oportunidad... es bueno para todos a la larga

Pienso que la cuando las parejas son infieles, es por quel el amor ya no esta, y la relaccion esta muerta. Infielidad es un caso en cual los hombres o mujeres son responsables.
Buenas tardes, Yo siento mucha curiosidad sobre el tema y he estudiado el tipo de personalidad que tiende a la infidelidad, La personalidad o trastornos que sufra la persona son, para mí, sólo la punta del Iceberg.
He encontrado un común denominador en los casos de infidelidad y se refieren a la infancia del niño o niña y la forma en que se les enseño a manejar responsabilidades y a controlar los niveles de placer "seguros".
Entre las personas mas infieles he encotrado a los "Aventureros" o "Extremos" quienes llevan una vida desordenada y con poco sentido de límites, los hay de todos los estratos sociales y frecuentemente se dan mucho al alcohol, drogas o ambos, es como si de alguna forma buscaran incrementar sus niveles de placer hasta el infinito, muchos de ellos son "galanes" por naturaleza y generalmente se amoldan al tipo de Damas o caballeros que mas facilmente ceden al acto sexual o relaciones "sin compromiso", tienden al desorden financiero y/o desorden en sus hogares.
Tambien he encontrado en algunos libros que los hombres y mujeres alegres, decididos y arriesgados tienden a ser más exitosos con el sexo opuesto, por lo tanto lo que convierte a los hombres y mujeres en infieles puede ser una herramienta para mantener una relación estable el mayor tiempo posible.
Con esto me refiero a ser "arriesgados", "extremos" hasta cierto punto, pero siempre tener en cuenta que esto se dá para hacer crecer la tensión sexual entre hombre y mujer que deciden pasar una vida juntos.
Por "arriesgado y extremo" me refiero a salir a algun lugar sin planificar o "dejar fluir" la situación que sea sin ningun tipo de ataduras "ideológicas o de algún otro tipo, a decir lo que se piensa, especialmente a aquellos que tienen un nivel social alto y que de alguna forma parecen "intocables", ser desafiante sin llegar a "las manos", confiar en si mismos/mismas y estar en un constante crecimiento intelectual, físico y psicológico, ser "Abiertos de pensamiento" y sobre todo confiar que este planeta está lleno de oportunidades.
Por el contrario, las personas menos atractivas, aunque pueden ser económicamente muy estables, tienden al estancamiento, obsesiones con el orden, constante crecimiento intelectual pero mas nada, apego extremo a su pareja al igual que todas las que ha tenido hasta el momento, falta de "agallas" para tomar desiciones que no arrojan un resultado predecible, sumisión extrema e inconsciente a personas de "estatus social" alto, hasta el punto de, en ocasiones, confirmar mentiras o exageraciones que puedan expresar.
Apego a su casa o ciudad de actual residencia, así como a su trabajo actual. Tambien estas personas sienten que el trabajo que tienen actualmente es lo único que van a conseguir y viven con miedo a perderlo.
Aunque pueden ser del sexo masculino, conservan una fracción de lo femenino, lo que los convierte en poco atractivos, desde el punto de vista femenino, si se dan estas condiciones, el hombre puede sentir deseos de ser infiel, por ser ellas la causa de un estancamiento general en la vida de él.
